Bibliography

This bibliography lists most of the books (section 1), periodicals (section 2) and articles/pamphlets (section 3) consulted during preparation of Revolution in the Air. For detailed information about actual citations included in the book, see the reference notes in the volume on pages 343-362.

Additional material relevant to the history covered in Revolution in the Air has appeared since work on this project was completed in September 2001. This supplement to the above three sections (section 4) lists a number of such books, as well as a few additional volumes published earlier.

Also, an especially comprehensive bibliography on the 1960s is now available on the worldwide web. See The 1960s: A Bibliography by Rebecca Jackson of the Iowa State University Library at http://www.public.iastate.edu/~rjackson/webbibl.html
